Within the framework of the green plan for the Petlin Redevelopment Plan, a layout of green areas, the existing conditions and proposed modifications were drawn up and documented in a comprehensive technical report. The existing vegetation — particularly the tree heritage — was surveyed using aerial imagery and on-site inspections, recording the species, trunk circumference and height of larger trees.
Based on these findings, a preliminary landscape concept was developed to guide future design and ensure a balance between preservation and new planting. For trees that could not be retained, detailed compensatory measures were defined, specifying the number, species and size of replacement plantings. The plan also provides recommendations for new planting, including technical solutions for green areas and roof gardens.
The result is a planning document that integrates analysis, ecological compensation and design quality, contributing to the protection and renewal of St.Ulrich’s urban landscape.
