In 2023, a Masterplan was drawn up for the St. Vigil–Seis Golf Club, conceived as a guide for the planning and landscape management of the coming years. Set in the heart of the Dolomites, the golf course is characterised by a distinctive natural and cultural identity that combines open views, meadows and forests, streams, orchards and traditional farmsteads. The project acknowledges this complexity as a core value and seeks to maintain balance through strategies of care, maintenance and renewal. A human-shaped landscape requires continuous attention to prevent degradation and ensure long-term resilience.
The Masterplan defines targeted actions to safeguard and strengthen the landscape heritage, including: renewal and maintenance of existing meadows and tree lines; restoration of wetland areas and the surroundings of ponds; ecological enhancement of pathways and linear tree structures;
promotion of local biodiversity through new plantings of native fruit varieties. Since 2020, when the process began, annual landscape and ecological improvements have been carried out, reinforcing the site’s natural and visual identity. The result is an evolving landscape, combining sporting function, beauty and sustainability in a harmonious whole.
